Kayano Shigeru Nibutani Ainu Museum

This place is written as [萱野茂二風谷アイヌ資料館] in Japanese.

Kayano Shigeru was one of the leader of Ainu not only Nibutani but also Hokkaido and Japan. He had devoted his life for recovering Ainu’s rights as natives in Hokkaido. He was the first member of National Diet as Ainu from 1994 to 1998.

The museum shows his collections that Kayano collected for his life. The collection includes not only Ainu items but also minor natives for east Asian countries.
