Where to Park My Car in Sapporo Station Area, Reasonable parking.

We present 12 affordable and 24-hour parking options near the Sapporo Station area.

Finding reasonably priced parking in Sapporo can be challenging. Whether you’re shopping, having lunch, or exploring the city on foot, convenient parking is essential.

One key point to keep in mind is that cash is typically required for payment at parking lots. Although some parking facilities, such as those managed by TIMES, now accept credit cards and electronic payments, this remains the exception rather than the norm.

Furthermore, it’s important to note that not all parking lots operate 24 hours, so be sure to check the operating hours before exiting.

Yodobashi Camera Parking Lot

The parking rates here are quite expensive unless you shop at Yodobashi Camera. If you plan to shop elsewhere, it is not recommended to park here.

Sapporo Station Kitaguchi Parking

This is an underground parking facility operated by the City of Sapporo. It offers convenient and affordable parking in a prime location.

Due to the recent redevelopment around Sapporo Station, some large shopping centers have been removed, resulting in less crowded conditions even during typically busy times around midday. Therefore, if you’re looking for parking near Sapporo Station, this is highly recommended.

The parking lot features precise indicators showing available spaces, making it very easy to park.

However, since payment is cash only, be sure to have small bills and coins (1,000 yen or less) ready in advance.

At shopping centers directly connected to Sapporo Station, such as Stellar Place, you can get up to 2 hours of free parking if you spend 2,000 yen or more at a single store. Combining receipts to reach 2,000 yen does not qualify for this service.

  • Rates: 170 yen per 30 minutes
  • There is no maximum parking fee.
  • No credit card, Cash only.

see the video below that shows hot to get there.

Daimaru Underground Parking Lot

On weekends and holidays, it gets very crowded. Additionally, exiting the parking lot can take a considerable amount of time, so please be aware of this. If you spend 2,000 yen or more at a single store in Daimaru Department Store, Stellar Place, or other connected shopping centers, you can get up to 2 hours of free parking.

When it is crowded, there is a specific way to line up for this parking lot. You cannot enter directly from the north side of Nishi 5-chome Street. If you see a line of cars on the left side of Kita 8-jo Street heading east, that is the queue for this parking lot. An attendant should be at the end of the line, so please follow their instructions.

Open: 9:30 AM – 10:30 PM

  • Every additional 20 minutes: 150 yen
