The German Christmas Market is a festive event held alongside the Sapporo White Illumination, running until December 24th. Today, on the opening day, the market is bustling with people. It has been growing larger each year. This year, the market features craft shops from Germany and Russia, as well as local vendors selling foods and Christmas decorations. A small stage hosts concerts and events in the main venue at Odori 2-chome. Free WiFi is available throughout the area.
