This place is written as [大湯沼] in Japanese.
Oyunuma is a hot spring pond with a circumference of about 1 kilometer. It features a sulfur spring gushing out from the bottom at around 130 degrees Celsius.
The name “Oyunuma” translates to “big hot spring pond” and it is the largest pond in Jigokudani.

Take a Donan bus via Noboribetsu Onsen(登別温泉) at JR Noboribetsu station to Ashiyu Iriguchi(足湯入口), 25 minutes ride and walk 10 minutes.
