This annual event lights up the streets of the Bay Area and the slopes of the Motomachi Area. Churches and historical buildings are also illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. Take a walk through the enchanting winter streets of Hakodate City. Don’t miss this; it’s well worth a visit.
During the Christmas season, a giant tree is set up at the harbor, greatly enhancing the enjoyment of the year-end illuminations.
